WayScaler is a Kubernetes autoscaling operator that runs entirely inside your cluster. It is installed via a Helm chart and operates as a controller within your infrastructure. We do not operate any hosted service, and your workload data never leaves your cluster.
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-S4G7VLMJG2) to understand how visitors interact with wayscaler.com. Google Analytics collects standard web analytics data: page views, referrer URLs, approximate geographic location, browser type, and session duration. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension or disabling JavaScript.
When you submit the beta signup form, we collect: your name, work email, company name, workload type, current autoscaler, workload shape, cluster size, provisioning time, scaling pain points, and any optional message you include. This data is processed by Formspree and forwarded to our email. We use it solely to evaluate your beta application and to contact you about the beta program. We do not sell, share, or transfer this data to third parties.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, and payment card details. Stripe is our payment processor; we do not store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
The WayScaler operator runs inside your Kubernetes cluster and reads pod metrics from the Kubernetes metrics-server API. It does not transmit any data outside your cluster. License validation is performed offline using Ed25519 cryptographic signatures — there is no "phone home" or telemetry callback to our servers. The operator does not read, process, or store the content of your application's requests or responses.
Beta signup data is retained for the duration of the beta program and deleted within 90 days of the program ending. Stripe retains billing data according to their retention policy. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the Google Analytics default).
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@wayscaler.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectification, and data portability.
wayscaler.com uses cookies set by Google Analytics for web analytics purposes. No other cookies are set. The site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics beyond Google Analytics.
